Today, Marazzi has state-of-the-art manufacturing plants and new technologies, as well as dozens of technological patents, that enable it to produce the best ceramic and stoneware products for both the home and the contract sector.
As long ago as 1994, Marazzi was the frst company in the sector to obtain certifcation of its quality system under the ISO 9001 standard, later followed by ISO 14001 certifcation of its environmental management system. Marazzi has helped to make the manufacture of ceramic coverings a closed-cycle production operation, limiting consumption of natural resources and reducing environmental impact, thanks to the optimisation of energy use, controlled waste management, the recycling of industrial wastewater, and quarry remediation in line with the most severe environmental regulations.

Grande by Marazzi now includes new surfaces inspired by the most exquisite marbles, the tactile personality of concrete or the mineral allure of metals, the outcome of the latest materials research and experimentation. Grande now also offers the solidity of 12 mm slabs, designed for the creation of kitchen and bathroom worktops, backsplashes, tables, and furniture. A leading-edge technology, perfected and customised in a new factory only producing porcelain stoneware slabs, achieves extremely sophisticated satiny and glossy surfaces, immune to time and now even more resistant, making the material uniquely ductile and shapable.

The product can be recycled after use, which only confirms its low environmental impact. It can also be used outdoors, as sunlight will not alter any of its properties. The hardness in Mohs scale is 8 making it harder than granite or quartz that has hardness of 7 in Mohs scale.
